More InfoMusic
Music occupies a central place in the life of Good Shepherd because it is the fabric of our liturgy, which lies at the heart of what we do and who we are as a parish of the Episcopal Church. By participating together in the music of the liturgy, we join the celestial song that echoes throughout creation. Every voice is indispensable, whether sweet, shrill, strong, shy, shaky, or sure.
More InfoYouth
The Youth Ministry of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd exists to bring young people together in fellowship so they may worship God and act as Disciples of Christ.

PRAYER LIST
Persons on the prayer list are mentioned in the prayers of the people each Sunday and are printed in the weekly bulletin insert. They are prayed for weekly by the Women’s Prayer Group.
IN TIMES OF ILLNESS
Please let the church office know if you or a loved one is ill! Those who are ill may receive Communion and visitation from clergy or our Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEVs). Flower arrangements from the altar flowers are delivered to families with new babies or those who are ill, caring notes may be sent, and frozen meals may also be delivered. Prayer Shawls are knitted, prayed over, and blessed. Then they are delivered to those who are in need of comfort.
Worship
Worship lies at the heart of the life of any community of faith. In worship, we come together to acknowledge the holiness of God, to hear the stories of our tradition, to offer prayer, and to celebrate God’s continuing presence among us. All are welcome to participate in our worship because it is in worship that we live out our life as a Christian family together. For Episcopalians, the way in which we worship – primarily using The Book of Common Prayer – is our strongest means of forming our identity and expressing our faith. That faith finds its fullest expression in the Holy Eucharist, our most characteristic form of worship. We celebrate this service several times on Sundays and during the week, in groups large and small.
