Parish Life
Our community is strengthened through a variety of programs and events for all age groups. Whether your you are a married couple with young children or a single adult, we offer many opportunities to grow your faith within our congregation.
Outreach
In Holy Baptism, we promise to “seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves”. Good Shepherd recognizes that we live in a broken and hurting world. Therefore we seek to feed the hungry, quench the thirsty, clothe the naked, tend the sick, and visit the imprisoned.
More InfoMusic
Music occupies a central place in the life of Good Shepherd because it is the fabric of our liturgy, which lies at the heart of what we do and who we are as a parish of the Episcopal Church. By participating together in the music of the liturgy, we join the celestial song that echoes throughout creation. Every voice is indispensable, whether sweet, shrill, strong, shy, shaky, or sure.
More InfoWorship
Worship lies at the heart of the life of any community of faith. In worship, we come together to acknowledge the holiness of God, to hear the stories of our tradition, to offer prayer, and to celebrate God’s continuing presence among us. All are welcome to participate in our worship because it is in worship that we live out our life as a Christian family together. For Episcopalians, the way in which we worship – primarily using The Book of Common Prayer – is our strongest means of forming our identity and expressing our faith. That faith finds its fullest expression in the Holy Eucharist, our most characteristic form of worship. We celebrate this service several times on Sundays and during the week, in groups large and small.
