What are the church office hours?
Good Shepherd’s administrative office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Offices are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the administration building.

Where do I park?
Parking is available in the lot behind the church and on the surrounding streets (check the signs on the street for available parking). Sunday parking is available across the street at the Tarrytown Shopping Center as well as at the Wells Fargo bank east of the church on Windsor.
Where do I take my child on Sunday morning?
Children between the ages of 2 months and 24 months - Childcare is provided in the Nursery. The Nursery is located next to the church and is in the same building as the Bride’s Room.
Children ages 2, 3 and 4 - A Preschool Program is available for in the school building (behind the parish hall). Children are dismissed from the playground (weather permitting) or from their classroom after the worship service.
Kindergarten through 3rd grade - Children in are invited to attend Children’s Chapel in the East Parish Hall. The end of Children’s Chapel coincides with the Peace in the church service, at which time the children process into the church to join their families for communion.
Is childcare available for the service or event I plan to attend at Good Shepherd?
Child care is available during the 9:00 and 11:10 am Sunday services and the Christian education hour in between. During June and July when we switch to a summer worship schedule, childcare is available duging the 9:00 am Christian education hour and during the 10:00 am service.
It is also regularly available during the Wednesday evening, Thursday morning, and Friday morning women’s Bible studies.
It is available as needed for certain other events; please call the parish office at 512 476 3523 for more information.
Where are the restrooms?
Public, accessible restrooms are available in the Parish Hall and the Administration Building. Baxter Hall and the Brides’ Room also include minimal restroom facilities. Not all these buildings are open for all events.
Unfortunately there are no public restrooms in the Church building, which dates from 1950. The campus master plan calls eventually for a new Narthex (lobby) which will include restrooms.
Is your campus handicapped accessible?
Wheelchair-accessible parking spaces are located next to the office building at the end of the covered walkway. The office is fully accessible except for automatically opening doors; other buildings except Moffett House and the School are generally wheelchair-accessible.
As buildings are renovated or replaced according to the campus master plan, they will be brought into compliance with ADA standards.
