New Senior Scholarships Offered
The men participating in the Good Shepherd Men’s Fishing Trip last month have generously pledged money towards establishing a scholarship fund for graduating high school seniors of the Good Shepherd parish. They have asked the Youth Committee of the parish to establish and award these scholarships. To that end, we plan to award two $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors who have been active in the parish and youth activities, and who exemplify a model of community service.
Included in this packet (link shown bleow) are the full eligibility criteria and the application form.
To be considered for the scholarship you must: 1) complete an application form, and 2) provide a one page essay. These must be RECEIVED by the church office by 4:30pm, Friday, May 23, 2008. Please mark them to my attention. Late submittals will not be accepted or considered.

Summer Changes
As the school year ends, the Youth schedule changes. May 18 will be our last Middle School Sunday School for the summer.

Mission Trip 2008 
The mission trip to Piedras Negras, Mexico. set for Sunday, June 15 - Friday, June 20 is nearly here. The missionaries are prayerfully preparing for the work ahead of them. Your prayers and financial support are crucial to this effort. To help, contact Clint Chaffin. or 476 3523

*Note that the nursery will be open from 9:30 to 12:30, and Pre-schoolers (ages 2-4) will meet in Baxter Hall 10:00 am to noon.
