Whether you are a first-time visitor, longtime member, friend or family, welcome to this place where together we sing, read,
pray, listen and break bread in thanksgiving and praise of God whose love brings new life.

Here people of all ages can find many opportunities for growth in spirit, heart, mind, and body through worship, learning, and service, all in the context of a caring community.

Community: We are welcoming, loving, and accepting of all into our community of faith and fellowship.
Tradition: We respect our Episcopal heritage of scripture, reason, worship, music, and prayer.
Spirituality: We joyfully acknowledge and respond to God’s transformative presence, grace, and beauty in our lives.
Education: We seek to grow spiritually by studying, praying, and serving Christ in all persons.

New Senior Scholarship Offered
The men participating in the Good Shepherd Men’s Fishing Trip last month have generously pledged money towards establishing a scholarship fund for graduating high school seniors of the Good Shepherd parish. They have asked the Youth Committee of the parish to establish and award these scholarships. To that end, we plan to award two $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors who have been active in the parish and youth activities, and who exemplify a model of community service.
Information and applications are available here or in the church office.
Note that the deadline for applications to be received is 4:30pm, Friday, May 23, 2008.

Music Department Special Request
Can you help? Due to an urgent need for a new portable electronic keyboard, the church has purchased one just in time for the May 3 Children’s Musical. The portability of the new keyboard will make it available for use throughout the Good Shepherd campus.Donations from the parish to cover the cost of the keyboard would be greatly appreciated! Make your check payable to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church with the notation: ‘Music-Keyboard’. Contact Eric Mellenbruch for details.
